Soba (buckwheat noodles), have been a cherished dish in Japan for centuries. ‘Cha soba’ (buckwheat noodles mixed with green tea), also highly valued by the Japanese, possess a slightly sweeter taste compared to regular buckwheat soba.
Toa Foods Cha Soba noodles are crafted meticulously using carefully selected wheat and buckwheat flours, along with aromatic matcha of the highest quality from Uji, Kyoto Prefecture.
This product contains four times more matcha than other standard cha soba (4% in total), imparting a distinctive matcha flavor, aroma, and a beautiful natural green color (No artificial colorants are used).
Furthermore, these noodles are dried using a traditional method that takes 12 to 15 hours, resulting in their smooth surface, chewy texture, and matcha aroma.
They can be enjoyed either cold with ‘mentsuyu’ (dipping sauce) or hot in dashi broth. They are also excellent for preparing salad dishes.
This product is sealed in an aluminum package to preserve the flavor and aroma of the cha soba noodles.
